Living on a cattle ranch with my family means that I have a lot of handy men in my life. From mending fences to building a house for our two goats (Chip and Minnie), they can build or repair anything, so when I saw the Tool Shed background stamp I knew that I had to have it. This card is based on the sketch from Retro Sketches and I love the way that it came together. Take a look:
This was my first attempt at a masculine card, and I love the finished product! The Tool Shed background stamp made it so easy! And the Woodgrain TIEF coordinates perfectly with the tool theme, don't you think? I stamped the background twice - once on my Very Vanilla cardstock for the background, and once on a Very Vanilla scrap sheet to cut out the individual tools. Mini glue dots made adhering them a snap -- those little glue dots are the perfect size!
Two Vintage Trinkets add a little extra "oomph" to the card without being too flashy or girly. And even though they are button brads, they kind of look a bit like nails/bolts/screws.
Hope you enjoyed today's card! See you back here tomorrow!
