A Trio of Butterfly Shakers...

Today's card was my first ever attempt at using Stampin' Up!'s Shaker Frames... and I love them!  I had originally wanted to stamp the butterflies on to the Window Sheets, but I did not have any Staz-On ink, so I attempted to heat emboss the butterflies.  Just FYI, don't try that!  The heat from my Heat Tool made the Window Sheet curl up and melt a bit... not good.  So I ended up just stamping the butterflies onto Whisper White cardstock and then punched them out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch.  I think the finished product is cute and whimsical with the touch of Sycamore Street DSP in the windows.  What do you think?

I love the Sycamore Street DSP and I think that it adds interest as the base for my Shaker Frames, rather than a solid color cardstock.  In the future, I think that I will use measuring spoons to measure out my Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  I was fretting over getting just the right amount of glitter into each of the frames.

Cute card, I think, overall.  And I'm sure one of my girlfriends will be happy to get this fun one in the mail.

See you all tomorrow!
