Okay, now on to today's card! I love it when a finished card turns out even better than I had initially imagined! I started with this week's sketch at Fab Friday and this is what I came up with:
I immediately thought to use the Honeycomb TIEF for all of that great blank background space. Primrose Petals Core'dinations Cardstock and the Stampin' Sanding Block gave me just the right amount of texture without competing with my flowers. And about the flowers... I just LOVE these flower images from Everything Eleanor! I stamped them on Whisper White Cardstock in Primrose Petals, used my Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker to color in the centers, and then cut them out with my Paper Snips.
The sentiment is from Vintage Verses, available for FREE with a $50 purchase now for Sale-a-Bration! I stamped it in Gumball Green onto a background made by stamping the solid crest image from Everything Eleanor in Summer Starfruit ink. I then ran it through my Big Shot using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.
I love how the flowers play off the great paper from the Print Poetry DSP Stack. A little border in Gumball Green Cardstock cut out with the Finishing Touches Edgelits creates the perfect separation between the two pieces.
Hope you enjoyed today's card! If you have any questions about how to recreate any of my work, or if you would like to place an order or find out about joining Stampin' Up!, feel free to email me at stampinontherange@yahoo.com
Until next time!
