I have another Swallowtail card for you today... Sorry, I couldn't resist! I embossed this one in Melon Mambo Embossing Powder then used my Stampin' Write Markers to color it in. It looks like I used three marker colors, but actually the pretty green color was made by coloring over my Daffodil Delight sections with Tempting Turquoise. I really like the sort of tie-dye effect! What do you think?
I snipped out my Swallowtail using my handy Paper Snips, then I popped him up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
A strip of Melon Mambo cardstock embossed with the Vine Street TIEF adds a bit more texture to the card. The simple little sentiment from Pretty Petites plays on the other turquoise elements of the card without taking too much away from the beautiful butterfly!
